Exchange of Sports Teams

The City of Barrie is hopeful that it will be able to start up an active exchange program between our respective city's Sports Teams. It will utilize a “plane to plane” hosting format with the overseas participants being billeted by the host families. Airport pick up and return transportation will be provided. Along with matches and possible tournaments, there will be days trips to local and provincial tourist attractions. The first exchange of teams from Harrogate played in Barrie in 2023 with the Barrie teams travelling overseas in the near future.
